Half-bound green leather with pale blue marbled leather. Spine is deep bron calf leather with five slightly raised bands and gilt titles and decoations. The front cover has been rehinged with Japanese tissue. There is some wear hear and there on the covers but overall a very attractive copy. Inside the B&W engravings have a good bit of foxing but the color plates, printed on a different stock, are near pristine.
