This is a report on textiles recovered by British arcaeologists from Egyptian tombs and cemeteries before 1922. It is the third of three reports and deals with the Coptic period. Besides the explanatory text there are 32 pages of B&W plates as illustration. This copy is in a brown, stiff-board, library binding from the Victoria and Albert Museum, Department of Textiles, rather nicely lettered on the front. See scan. Spine is sunned with faded titles. (Scan may make book appear light brown but it is the usual government green. ) Overall light wear and aging but square and securely bound. Following page 454 are 60 b&w photographic plates. The book also contains 88 diagrams and maps.
