Quarterbound leather with pebbled covers and gilt titles. Binding is something of a mess with three of the leather corners missing and the other one reglued. Backstrap scuffed and obviously reglued, though book appears square and binding has a firm feel. Front cover has been off at some time and been reattached -- actually not bad for something that was badly done.
