This is a post card of Yosemite Valley from Artist's Point. As a PC it is in VG condition. The back which was written by Burroughs is VG+ with the cancellation touching part of the address and a small crease touching part of the message. Two small notes in pencil -- one identifies the writer as Burroughs; the other is not readable. See scan. The card is addressed to a young woman, possibly a student, at Wellsley College. ; Color Post Card of Yosemite; 1 pages; The note, in Burroughs hand reads, "All goes well. 3 days here with Muir. Deep, reddish-brown cloth with gilt titles on spine and bevelled edges. Light edge and corner wear. Still square and securely bound. Former owner's name and address on ffep. ; 12mo 7" - 7½" tall; 231 pages; This was Burroughs' second book, first on nature. This appears to be a first edition except there is nothing, no title or decoration, on the front, as is listed in some descriptions.
