Green cloth with gilt titles. Contains foldout view of Hampton with one-inch tear on one fold. Some edge, corner and surface wear but still square and securely bound. This is a well-known chronicle of Hampton Institute (originally Hampton Normal and Industrial Institute, now Hampton University) located near Hampton Roads Virginia by two professors. The Institute was originally an African-American college and the authors were professors there.
