This large (16X20) B&W Photograph, printed on medium weight card stock is of the 1946 Brooklyn Dodgers. This photograph was produced by the New York Journal American and was taken from a color photograph of the team. This team was the nucleus of the greatest Brooklyn Dodger team ever and one of the last all-white Dodger teams. Within two years, Jackie Robinson, Roy Campanella, Duke Snider and many others would join some of those in this picture and become the only Brooklyn team to win the World Series. This large (16X11.5) B&W Photograph, printed on slick paper stock, is of the 1951 Brooklyn Dodgers. Most of the great Dodger names are in this photo -- Snider, Robinson, Campanella, Reese, Newcombe, Erskine, Hodges, and Furillo. They were waiting for Podres, Koufax, Drysdale and Walter Alston. This photo has significant wear on the corners where it was probably pinned or taped to a wall.There is also some spotting and toning in the margins and an old 3" vertical crease near the top center.
