Book Condition: Very Good- with no dust jacket

Navy blue cloth with gilt titles and illustration on front. Spine title somewhat faded. The book has light edge and corner wear along with some faded or dtained areas mainly on the front left. Please see scan. The book is square and securely bound with no tears or parting. It is signed, inscrbed and dated on the ffep by the author. George D. Hay was a radio personality in Nashville who started the WSM Barn Dance which quickly became the Grand Old Opry. He is in the Country Music Hall of Fame. It should be noted that Judge Hay was not a judge and that this book is essentially a group of dialect stories featuring African-Americans in court settings.
