This large (13X10 1/2) photograph is in VG to VG+ conditionwith some edge corner and surface wear along with light aging. Please see our photograph. The photo is of the cast of Clint Bonner's Oddities a Variety Show made up of Alabama entertainers, organized into a Vaudeville stage show. All the cast members, except for one are identified in in, those are not autographs since they are all in the same hand. Those depicted are: Hal Johnsonm a Birmingham radio personality and sports announcer; Clint Blakely, portraying the "turrible consibule;" Clint Bonner, artist and impresario; Mickey Oxford, Miss Birmingham of 1938; Clo McAlpin, musician/accordion player; Ted Brooks, on guitar and C. B Smith, who, I think, was billed as Carleton the Magician. The man in blackface on the far left is not identified. The vertical writing in the upper left corner states: "Cast for 1938 Barnstorming of state of Ala. 'Clint Bonner's Variety Show.'" I'm sure that this was special entertainment. On the back are several clippings about the show and the performers. Nice ephemeral piece relating specifically to Birmingham, Alabama. ; B&W Photograph; Oblong Small 4to 9" - 11" tall; 1 pages
