This is a large, single-fold newspaper with expected toning with some edgewear including a small tear on the spine at the center. Some old fold lines probably from packing or mailing. Overall this copy is in VG condition, maybe slightly better. The title of this publication is misleading. This is not an African-American periodical but a Labor Movement publication, probably a one-off issue to spur support for Roosevelt and the New Deal and to encourage labor organizing. (A more apt title would be The Pennsylvania Bad News.)The paper was issued jointly by The Pennsylvania Federation of Labor, the Cooperating Legislative Board of the Transportation Brotherhoods and the Pennsylvania Security League. This latter organization seems to have been the publisher and primary distributor. Articles are on labor unions, labor organizing, the New Deal, the influence of the Chamber of Commerce and other related issues. The two interior pages are voting charts on labor-related issues for all Pennsylvania politicians. This is probably the only issue of this paper. WorldCat locates only one library holding at the University of Pittsburgh. ; B&W Cartoon; Elephant Folio 23" tall; 4 pages
