Except for aging, autograph, front of envelope and cachet are near fine. The back of the envelope, however, has residue from being pasted into an album. For display, this autograph is still near fine. Dizzy Dean is in the Hall of Fame and was one of the great pitchers of all time. His career was cut short by injuries. He is also remermbered as the announcer for the Game of the Week on Saturdays in the 1950's and 60's. Along with sidekicks Buddy Blatner and more famously Pee Wee Reese, Diz was famous for his enthusiasm and his unusual relationship with English grammar: "He slud in there safe, Pee Wee!" He was one of the greats. ; Oblong 48mo 3½" - 4" tall; 1 pages
