Book has been read and used by Atlanta reviewer, Phil Garner, with some underlinging and notes. Garner's ownership name is on the ffep. Very little wear, though some toning on foredges along with the somewhat loose feeling that occurs with a book that has been read and re-read. Jacket has light edge, corner and surface wear with a very small tear on rear bottom flap fold. Overall a solid and usable copy of this important book which was the first volume in Branch's magesterial study of the King years. ; B&W Illustrations; Large 8vo 9" - 10" tall; 1064 pages
