Corners and head and foot of spine slightly bumped, some offset from DJ on ffep, half title and several pages following have a crease at the top right corner, but interior generally clean and tight. The dust jacket is a little worn along the folds, spine is sunned, and here are several small chips and tears, but the illustration is still bright. Oemler was a native of Savannah, Georgia and a prolific writer from 1914 until her death in 1932. All but forgotten today, Slippy McGee, Sometimes Known as the Butterfly Man, was her most popular novel.
