This book has had some water damage in the past that shows up as a dark stain on the bottom of the front and rear covers and at the top of some interior pages. At some point the front hinge was cracked, but this ghas been re-glued in a reasonable manner. I offer this novel about Andrew Jackson only because it is signed and dated by John Trotwood Moore who was a quite popular regionalist from Tennesse and the father of Merrill Moore, one of the Fugitive Agrarians at Vanderbilt. ; B&W Frontispiece of Andrew Jackson; 12mo 7" - 7½" tall; 454 pages
