Beige cloth with black titles on spine and Wootten photograph of a mountain cabin tipped to front. Book has light general wear and aging, along with flaking of maroon coloring on top foredge. Also, a former owner's personal library stamp on ffep. Square and securely bound. Scarce dust wrapper has edge and corner wear. Chips on corners along with damage at spine ends including loss and tearing at bottom of spine, along with old tape stain where someone tried and unadvisable repair. Jacket is F to G, though still presentable. The first edition was published in 1925 as Highland Annals but without the photographs. This Revised Edition includes fifty great photographs by the female North Carolina photographer, Bayard Wootten. Wootten's work has become highly sought after, and adds a special significance to this book.
