G+ to VG-. ; B&W Frontispiece; Small 8vo 7½" - 8" tall; 131 pages; This is a biography of Sammy Morris, who was born an African prince in Liberia and nearly killed by rivals. He eventually escaped to Monrovia and was converted to Christianity by missionaries. He eventually made his way to America and enrolled at what is now Taylor University in Upland, Indiana. He became a dynamic minister who seems to have affected all who came in contact with him. He died suddenly at thirty. His is a very interesting and unusual story.
