A Man Called White

By: White, Walter

Price: $50.00

Quantity: 1 available

Book Condition: Very Good+ in Good+ dust jacket

Book has only some shelf wear and aging. Jacket has edge and corner wear and a badly sunned spine. Book is square and securely bound. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 382 pages; White worked for the NAACP and often passed as a white man in investigations in the South. He is certainly a man worth remembering. A small archive of clippings on White is included. An envelope that held some of this archive is glued to the back free end paper and there is some discoloration. The book belonged, at one time, to Professor Stanley H. Chapman whose ownership signature is on the ffep, whose embossure is on the half title, and whose black stamp is on the bottom foredge. Professor Chapman, a Professor at Bucknell and CCNY, seems to have liked this book.
