Mimeographed magazine has edge and corner wear with some tears and chipping. Bound with a strip of tape for a spine; there has been some loss of the tape though the magazine still holds together. White dot (paint? ) near top edge, and a former owner's stamp to the top left (see scan). Interior has some light toning but overall this cheaply produced journal is in about as good a condition as could be expected. G+ to VG-; #3; 4to 11" - 13" tall; 33 pages; Interesting ephemeral magazine of folklore produced at Peabody in Nashville. Articles include -- "Negro Folklore from FayetteCounty," "Folklore of a Negro Couple in Henry County," "The Shivaree," "Some Folkways of a Stewart County Community," and "Note on Decatur County."
