This is a limited edition (249 copies), miniature book of poems by Frank Marshall Davis. This copy is as new except for the ghost of an old price on the 2nd free endpaper by a former owner/dealer. This book was the last that Davis published during his life. He had been a journalist in Atlanta and Chicago, a union organizer and a Civil Rights activist as well as a poet. He lived for many years in Hawaii and was a friend of Barack Obama's maternal grandfather. In Dreams of my Father, Obama recalled warm memories of Davis.
