Stapled, pictorial wraps with images of Ebbets Field/Walter Alston and Yankee Stadium/Casey Stengel. This copy has only light, general wear and aging -- close to near fine. If you were a Dodger or Yankees fan, the years 1955 and 1956 were two great ones. The Dodgers won their first and only World Series in Brooklyn in 1955, beating the Yankees in seven games. The next year the two teams played again. The Yankees won that years with Don Larsen's perfect game being the highlight. These two teams featured future Hall-of-Famers Mickey Mantle, Whitey Ford, Yogi Berra, Duke Snider, Roy Campanella, Jackie Robinson, Don Drysdale and Sandy Koufax plus both managers, Alston and Stengel. This is the program for 1956 with many photos of the players and much information. It evokes a time and place long gone. ; B&W Photographs; 4to 11" - 13" tall; 48 pages
