County and Municipal Officials of Tennessee - 1940
1 County and Municipal Officials of Tennessee - 1940
Nashville Tennessee State Planning Commission 1940 Hardcover Good+ with no dust jacket
This book is a discard from the Chattanooga Public Library. It was in the Reference section and has no card pocket, but it is lstamped "Discard" in several places. Originally, the spine was blank, and the library neatly stencilled the title and reserve number there by hand. Thereis some edge and corner wear, a little damage at the bottom of the spine, and some soiling on the front (see scan). ; 4to 11" - 13" tall; 90 pages; This book was issued by the State of Tennessee to list the county and city officials for the entire state. The interior pages appear to be typecript, though I'm sure that some type of copying was done. The book was obviously printed in limited quantities by the state government. It provides a detailed list though, of who was who in local government in Tennessee in 1940.
