The 2 fold out maps are present and in VG condition except for a 1" tear on the front map. Interior is slightly toned, no foxing. A former owner's name is written in ink on the front. ; B & W photos, maps; 16mo 6" - 7" tall; 124 +94pp ads pages; While the descriptions of these resort towns in Dorset, UK , are interesting, it is the 95 pages of ads for everything the traveler needs, from hotels and restaurants, from railroads to yachts, from cameras to jewelry that are fascinating.

This copy is somewhat unusual because it has a dustjacket and because the inscription on the ffep is to Graham Jackson. Jackson was a famous African - American musician who is most remembered from the photograph of his playing the accordian and crying as Franklin Roosevelt's body was taken from Warm Springs, Georgia. Jackson was known as Georgia's "state musician" until his death in the 1980's. Carlota had visited Georgia during her travels. ; Signed by Author
