AAA Western Tour Book
1 AAA Western Tour Book
Washington DC American Automobile Association 1941 First Edition (?); 1st Printing (?) Softcover Good
This copy is in G condition with wear and some ships on the covers and a small tear (about an inch) near the middle of the first 34 pages, does not affect reading the entries. There is browning on the edges of the interior pages. ; B&W Photos and maps; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 652 pages; This is the American Automobile Association (AAA) Tour Book for the Western United States, Western here meaning west of the Mississippi River. The softcover book is 652 pages and still has the foldout mileage map attacjhed in the back. It is filled with information, photos, maps, and other information on places to go and see in all of the western states. It is arranged by state. This is quite a source for how the western USA was different for travellers almost 70 years ago.

Gene Autry's Flyin' a Ranch Stampede Official Program
2 Gene Autry's Flyin' a Ranch Stampede Official Program
Hollywood Gene Autry N.D. Program Very Good- with no dust jacket
There is light, general wear as well as light soiling along with a few surface scuffs and creases (see scan. ) This magazine-like program has a light musty odor that is noticeable only when it is held close to the face. ; B & W Photographs; Oblong 4to 11" - 13" tall; 16 pages; This is a program from Gene Autry's travelling rodeo which was known as Gene Autry's Flyin' A Ranch Stampede. This program was sold wherever the rodeo took place and was accompanied by a local insert. This copy does not have an insert. There is a lead article in the pr ogram by Gene Autry in which he talks about music. There is also an article on Champion and on the various contests in the rodeo. This program probably dates to around 1949. I have dated it because of the other items that came with it and because of an ad for Defense Bonds.
