One signature slightly pulled, and third front free endpaper missing top inch (probably where a name was torn off) . Some ownership names on endpapers. Binding is square and secure with no parting or tears. ; B&W Illustrations; 12mo 7" - 7" tall; 391 pages; This is the New Edition, Revised by Author. This novel of old Kentucky was originally published in 1837. Very nice copy overall. Howes I 322.

Wetherby which dates it to the early 1950's. The booklet is organized by major routes in Kentucky. Two or more pages are devoted to each route and includes a map, photos, and text detailing each important stop. Very nice and informative.
