It is still square and there is no parting or tears. ; B & W Illustrations; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 373 pages; Novels on King Philip's War are harder and harder to come by. This one, The Young Puritans in King Philip's War is by Mary P. Wells Smith as part of the Young Puritan's Series. Before Tom Swift and the HArdy Boys, there were the Young Puritans, the name fairly scintillates with excitement. Anyway, this is a first edition, and there are not many around. Solid copy of a very early series book on an almost forgotten time in American History.
