Pictorial wraps have some edge and corner wear. There is also toning and some soliling on the wraps. A diagonal crease goes from near the word "Gardens" through the wagon in the illustration. (See scan). This crease has flattened but is there. There is a similar vertical one on the back. The book is still square and securely bound. Some underlining and notes inside. ; B&W Illustrations; Large 8vo 9" - 10" tall; 202 pages; This book is from the library of Steven Wheaton who did the historical landscape restoration at Barnsley Gardens, an antebellum estate in Northwest georgia. This boo k was used by Wheaton in the restoration which accounts for some of its flaws. Interesting book and association.
