The book shows some wear, particularly along the spine and edges. It is securely bound with a very slight cock to the spine. ; 12mo 7" - 7½" tall; 143 pages; This appears to be a paperback first edition. The book was published in a shorter version under a different title in 1958, but I think this is the first of this version. The author was African -American, and the book is of special interest since he was one of the few black writers at the time in this genre.
