Very light wear, slightly bent at left side, small scape across right edge of title. ; Thin 8vo 8" to 9" tall; 20 pages; In 1953, the Calhoun and Gordon Co. , GA Chamber of Commerce was working to develop New Echota, the last capitol of the Cherokees before the Removal, as an historic site. This is a copy of one of the Booklets the Chamber published to interest people in the project. It is a biography of Elias Boudinot by his granddaughter, Mary Brinsmade Church, passed down to the Calhoun Woman's Club by the Woman's Club of Washington, CT. We also have a copy of the story of the Cherokee National Capitol, printed at the same time.
