This copy is signed to Steve Wheaton on the half title page by "Ellen." Wheaton was a horticulturalist at Swathmore (Scott Arboretum) in Pennsylvania. The inscription mentions a collaboration that is either Dayes or Hayes. Wheaton went on to become Director of Grounds at Scott and later directed the restoration planting at Barnsley Gardens in Northwest Georgia.
