Book has only very light edge wear and anticipated aging. Both front and rear free endpapers have a vertical, rectangular area near spine that is toned, Not sure why. Square and securely bound. This copy is close to near fine. Jacket has some minor wear and very light chipping at spine ends, along with some light aging and soiling. First British Edition of Baldwin's acclaimed second novel which is the first of his works to deal directly with homosexual themes.
