The book has light, general wear, slight corner bumping on the bottom and a small, printing flaw (pimple-like) on the front, bottom left (see scan}. This could probably be removed. There is some interior foxing on the endpapers. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 525 pages; First edition of Starke's critical biography of Lanier. This is one of the best studies of Lanier. This copy is signed , inscribed and dated (1935) on the ffep. Difficult to find a non-library first. Back panel of dustjacket laid in. ; Signed by Author
