1 Heath, Aloise Buckley Will Mrs. Major Go to Hell?
New Rochelle Arlington House 1969 First Edition; First Printing Hardcover Very Good in Good+ dust jacket
Yellow cloth with very light edge and corner wear. Some toning on foredges and a stain on the rear interior endpaper which alos touches the last page of text. Book is square and securely bound. Jacket has some chips and tears but is still quite attractive in mylar. ; Introduction by Priscilla L. Buckle & William F. Buckleyy; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 272 pages; This copy has a bookplate that I believe to be, after much research, signed by William F. Buckley. At first glace the signature appears to be Buckley's. At second glance, the initial appears to be a "G." However, it turns out that Buckley, in writing his "F" often made a curve that gave the "F" the look of a "G". The terms "chicken scratch" and "scribble" were invented for Buckley' signature which widely varies in the many known examples. I cannot prove that this signature is Buckley's, but I believe it to be and will glad take the book back with a full refund if you by it and find solid evidence that it is not William F. Buckley's signature. ; Signed by Associated
