Otherwise, except for a very slight musty odor, the book is VG+. ; Small 4to 9" - 11" tall; 194 pages; If you have ever wondere why so many garden plants are named for people and who these people are, this is a book for you. The stories are entertaining and enlightening. Copeland began her serious studies in the field of horticulture began at the University of Georgia in 1992. She lives and gardens in Atlanta, Georgia, where she is a member of the Board of Trustees for the Atlanta History Center, the Southeastern Flower Show, and Gardens for Peace. Armitage is well known as a writer, speaker and researcher and at the University of Georgia, he runs the research gardens where new plant material from most of the flower breeders in the world is evaluated.
