Hinges have been reinforced with cloth tape front and back; book is now square and binding, while somewhat loose. Has no parting or tears. ; Pickett's History was originally published in 1851, and the copyright renewed in 1873.; Ex-Library; B&W Frontispiece; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 773 pages; 1896, single volume complete, reprint of Pickett's rather uncommon first edition of 1851.
