Brown cloth with gilt titles on spine. Book is s quare and securely bound with almost no edge or corner wear. There is toning on the foredges which has affected the margins of pages 18 and 19 on the interior. If this foredge toning were not present, the book would be near fine. The jacket has some light edge and corner wear along with some toning on the back and on the flap folds. ; B&W Drawings plus B&W Photographs; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 139 pages; Good books by and/or about the early Delta blues singers are hard to come by. This account of Broonzy's life is one of the best.
